Three of us were able to go and we had the time of our lives - a week was definitely too short and we all wished we could stay another week. The accommodations were impeccable, the food was incredible, the pool was amazing, and the service was first-class I'm hoping to talk my husband into returning with me on our next vacation together. We spent most of our time at the resort, but did manage to venture out to the Mayan ruins at Tulum and went on shopping trips to Cancun and Playa del Carmen. We took several towns and went speed boat riding, snorkling, parasailing and just relaxed.

The Fiesta Americana, Cancun Hotel was very close to a lot of restaurants and shops. We took several trips by bus down town shopping to the only WalMart.

The people was veru quite but very wonderful, if they seen you needed help, they went our of their way and spoke very pleasant to help you. Something we in the USA need a little more of. Now the sales people were a littly pushy but friendly.

Dear Mark Rickabaugh,

Wanted to send a note to you thanking everyone for the most relaxing and perfect vacation in the Mayan Palace Riviera Maya in Playa Del Carmen. I wanted to let all members knows this resort is tops! The hospitality is all around the resort. When we arrived on friday october 8th early, got our rent car, toured the city of Cancun and got to the resort we were able to check in early too. This allowed us to get an extra day in our travel. The front desk was able to exchange our money on the spot the rate was $11.09 same as in town! All the hot spots around this place we toured( coba ruins, tulum and chitz en itza). All the roads were in great shape (perfect). And to say arriving back from long tours, all had the best meals in all the resorts restaurants(yum!). The second paper, the resorts has for entertainment everynight high class. We engaged all the goodies of this beautiful place at the Mayan Palace in Playa Del Carmen. I will tell all our friend and family and clients about this perfect place.

On September 18th, my husband and I participated in our first vacation through Travel to Go. Our fun fined destination was Steamboat Springs, Colorado where we stayed in the beautiful accommodations at Village @ Steamboat. Our unit was clean and comfortable (except for the bed that was in bad need of replacement) and was decorated in a relaxing westem flair. The stone fireplace made our accommodations so cozy and relaxing that we found ourselves just sitting back and gazing into the flames. We thoroughly enjoyed the work out room, hot tub and pool. The staff was most friendly and accommodating.

The town of Steamboat was most delightful and offered lots of shopping and street strolling. The restaurants offered a wide range of culinary delights. Our favorite was. We absolutely loved the weather. It was warm and sunny when we arrived. Two days later, it rained and the third day we had 17 inches of snow. What a spectacular sight! Snow covered the mountains and draped the spruce trees for days. We loved it.

Everyday, we would explore a new area around Steamboat driving a new trail in a new direction. We drove the scenic and historic byway Flat Tops Trail as well as mountain pass byways, Steamhoat Lake trail and so many others. The Aspen were at peak season and were a fabulous display of yen ow and orange against the tall slender white trunks. We caned them our long legged ladies with beautiful hairdos. There was so much to see around Steamboat that our daily drives became an adventure in themselves. We crossed rugged Rocky Mountain ranges that were absolutely breathtaking, discovered coalmines that were in full operation and saw some of the finest cattle ranges that we have ever seen with lush green grasses dotted with black healthy cattle. We saw so much diversity from cattle and sheep grazing the open range, cattlemen and hunters on horseback trails to beautiful pheasant eating along the roadside grasses. We stopped in local towns, eating and talking with local folks and taking in every bit of the area we could. We LOVED it.

Thank you for making it possible. Since we are not skiers, we would have never gone to Steamboat but your offering gave us a challenge to go to that area and we are glad we did. We can recommend Village at Steamboat to everyone.

Dear Mark,

Thanks to you and Travel To Go, our first trip to Hawaii surpassed our expectations. When my boyfriend and I were deciding what islands and accommodations to choose, we relied solely on our fellow Travel To Go members. You had indicated that Mauna Loa Village by the Sea received great reviews by previous guests, and those reviews were absolutely true! The resort is located next to the fairways of the Kona Country Club (2nd floor units recommended for better views), a short walk from Keauhou Bay, and a few minutes drive to the heart of Kailua-Kona. It's a perfect location to explore the island from.

The Mauna Loa Village by the Sea is great for everyone - families, groups, adults, kids and/ or honeymooners. The resort amenities included free parking, pools, sundecks, hot tubs, and tennis courts. The units were fully equipped with everything we needed for sleeping, dining and entertaining. Some pleasant surprises were the laundry detergent and outdoor barbeque. The staff was friendly, just like the people of Hawaii. Mauna Loa Village by the Sea also provided a welcome orientation for the guests, free use of the coolers, boogie boards, and ete., as well as, a discount program for the island tours.

Tim and I had a wonderful vacation on the Big Island. If you like adventures and sight seeing, the Big Island is the place to go. There, you can visit the Volcanoes National Park, South Point (southern most tip of the US), spectacular water falls, Kona coffee farms, macadamia plantations, island cities of Kailua-Kona and Hilo, authentic luaus, and/ or golf courses, such as the Mauna Kea golf course (where the US PGA plays their tournaments). The Big Island's diversity will enable each visitor to find his or her "paradise". Just don't take a lava rock home with you; the locals believe Pele, the volcano goddess, will curse you!

Just a note to thank you for your help in planning my dream vacation to Hawaii. Without Travel To Go's Promotional Travel Plan my guests and I would never been able to have the experience of a lifetime.

Our first week in Hawaii was spent on the island of Oahu at the Royal Kuhio in Waikiki. It was so convenient to shopping, restaurants and catching tours. Everything was in walking distance. We enjoyed the seeing the Polynesian Cultural Center, snorkeling, boogie boarding, hiking in the rain forest, seeing the Arizona Memorial, taking a submarine tour over a coral reef, a sunset dinner cruise and some evening shows.

The second week of our trip was spent on the island of Kauai at the Pono Kai resort. This was a spectacular place. The ground floor room provided us with a lanai and an easy walk to the ocean. The view of the ocean in the morning when we open the drapes was like a postcard.. The grounds and the Japanese style garden were something to behold.

We did a few trips around the island including a movie tour, a trip the Fern Grotto and a Luau there, and also a lovely evening at Gaylords' Plantation. This week was more relaxed with time to walk down the streets and visit the small shops along the way, enjoy the variety of food at some of the small eating establishments, sunbathing and swimming at the pool which was only about 75 -100 feet from our door and leisurely strolls along the ocean. Thank you for setting up this spot for us.

My experience during these past two weeks was beyond my expectations. Everyone was very courteous and helpful which made things go very smoothly. Thank you again for making this opportunity available to me and for all your help in planning it.

I am already looking forward to my four day cruise and to planning that trip with you.

Thank you for the Welcome Home card. As always, we were happy to get home, but, I must tell you....we had another wonderful trip, thanks to you.

I told you I would write and send a picture after the trip, and you will find enclosed a couple of pictures of us at our beautiful hotel in Saulsburg, Austria. It could not have been any nicer. The accommodations were first class, the hotel dining rooms and restaurants wonderful and the staff at this hotel were the most friendly, helpful folks we have ever come across.

On this trip, we took along my husband's daughter and son-in-law for their first trip to Europe. She is a high school principal and can only get off in July, which is why we chose July for the trip. (Usually we travel during the off-season months, such as April or October and avoid the tourist/school children mob). The weather was perfect, in the 70s everywhere we went....sunshine and no rain. We visited Switzerland and Italy with them and they were just thrilled with everything, as were we.

I want to thank you for making all the arrangements for us in another wonderful place.

Thank you for the 'Welcome Home" card! We had a GREAT time in Mexico, as always. PV has become like a 2nd home to us. This was the first time we've taken 2 weeks of vacation in a row and we actually got some real R&R. We knew we had to rest up before coming home because we were moving into a new home and we were going to be very busy.

Here is a picture of the view from our condo at Alta Vista. This was the 2nd time we have stayed there and really love it. The thing I miss the most is sitting on the patio in the mornings checking out the view and watching the parots fly thru every morning while enjoying some good coffee. The people who work at Alta Vista are great too. Very helpful!

I am looking for the least expensive flights available from the US to Australia during the Christmas season. I am aware that this is the high season. Flights might originate from Fargo ND to Sydney, Australia. The dates can be flexible but can begin on the evening of Dec 10, 2004 and return January 21, 2005. The starting airport is also somewhat flexible if there is a significant difference in the cost. This is for two adults. You might check out the Qantas connection to Moree, NSW since their parents live in Moree. I remember that the connection from Brisbane to Bundaberg for the three of us was a nominal additional cost. My wife and I stayed at the Avalon Reef Club and decided not to go with the all inclusive package. This worked out well and actually saved us money. My family went on a promotional trip to the Avalon Reef Club on Isla Mujeres. I just wanted to say that everything about this trip was fabulous. If you have children the resort on Isla Mujeres is the best. The ocean is so calm that the children can swim without fear of waves dragging them around. There is great snorkeling all
around the island. It was one of the best trips we have ever taken. The people were so nice, and the food was fabulous. The on site daycare provider Olga was fantastic with our children. There was always something to do, but we were not overwhelmed and it was very relaxing. The island may not be huge, but it has everything to offer. If you want a little bit more commercial and a little busier place the ferry can zip you over to Cancun. I would also recommend the day trip to Excaret. GREAT TIME! Oh, I must also say that both the Avalon Reef, and the Avalon Grand are
awesome hotels. We will definately be back.

Hello Mark,

It is my pleasure to write this letter to you. From May 29 to June 5 I vacationed on the island of Kaua’i in Hawaii. I had the pleasure of staying at the beach front resort Pono Kai. As our first family vacation in five years we had a fabulous time due largely to the assistance of Travel To Go. When the kids awoke after a long day of travel and looked out the window to see the beach before them it was truly a priceless moment. The resort was beautiful to stroll. The staff was more than helpful. In fact when we did have a problem the staff was prompt in responding. When we did turn on the TV (finally) it fizzed and sparked! We were startled. A phone call to the front desk had the faulty equipment replaced by 9am the very next morning. And that morning was a Sunday. I was surprised. Checking in and out was quick and easy and so friendly even at our unusual hours of travel. The condo (which is perfect for all the comforts of home while vacationing!!!!) was well supplied with local availabilities. It was a fantastic way to visit Kaua’i. The Pono Kai was walking distance from shops, curios and restaurants.

Thank you, Mark, for all the help. We had a fabulous time and the resort was PERFECT. Travel To Go and the Pono Kai helped to make the vacation of a lifetime.

I would recommend Travel To Go to any friend of mine and anyone considering their next vacation.

Dear Rick: I'm a bit late thanking you for making it possible for my cousin and myself to visit Madrid for one week.

Apartamentos Plaza Basilica, where we stayed, was very adequate and the staff was nice and helpful. I would recommend it anytime. It was also walking distance to the bart station, so we could go by bart anywhere in Madrid. Their bart system is very, very good.

Madrid is impressive with its beautiful architecture and so much history. I felt I was getting a review on World History as I went to visit the different sites close to Madrid, like Toledo, Avila, Segovia, The Escorial, and the Valley of the Fallen where Franco's remains are (dictator of Spain).

I felt in love with the 'jerez ice cream'. I had to have it almost daily and not just one scoop, neither two, it had to be three scoops of that delicious ice cream.

Spain is wonderful to visit; next time, I will need more time to do it fair justice.

The people of Spain are the friendliest people in the world. The apartment is cool too except the is no oven only 2 hotplate things. Ive been many places but this is the best. The dollar is taking a beating yikes $2.00 us= $1.39 in Madrid I wont be coming home with a suitcase full of shoes. The tours of the city are inexpensive. I don't know whats up the the ham these people eat ham with everything. They like pistachios and potato chips for appetizers. There are no tacky bill boards. And little kids look like fairy tale kids with their cute little smocks and such. And the men love that (:brown sugar) ya know see ya Shelia. I watching the Laker's at 2 am tonite: Last night it was vampire night. For some reason of vampire movies on TV Nothing like watching George Hamilton suck blood in Spanish.

My wife and I, her two sisters and their husbands, and my wife's 81 year-old mother would like to thank you and Travel To Go for setting up a "dream come true" vacation for us this past March. We spent two wonderful weeks in Hawaii. Our first week was at the Kahana Villa on the island of Maui. The two-bedroom condo was outstanding. It was located just across the street from the beach. It was a two story condo with a large living room/dining room/kitchen on the main floor. We only used the kitchen for one meal, a large brunch on the day we left, as we had a lot of "doggie bags" from the week of eating out at Maui's fabulous restaurants. The condo provided Kona coffee, sugar and cream. We did, however, make plenty use of the washer and dryer. Upstairs was a master bedroom with a king size bed, and a large master bath and plenty of closet space. The other bedroom had two twin beds and two closets, and the bath was in the hall.

The air conditioner was downstairs, and at first we thought it would be hot in the bedrooms. The master bedroom was open to the lower area so the air conditioner helped cool it, plus the ceiling fan helped. The other bedroom was kept cool by opening the windows and turning on the ceiling fan. It got so cool one night I had to turn down the fan and close two of the windows.

One of my wife's sisters is also a Travel To Go member and she booked the other condo room. The other condo room was in a different building in the Kahana Villa complex but was only a short walk to ours. It was a one-bedroom, one-bath all on one floor. The kitchen/ dining room/ living room was smaller than ours, but fine for three people. The only complaint was there was not much drawer space for clothes in either condo. We actually spent very little time in the condo as we explored the island from dawn to late at night. The location at Kahana could not have been any better. We snorkeled at Kaanapali and Kapalua and wanted to snorkel at Napali but the water was too rough that day. We swam or walked along many of the nearby beaches. When people say Maui has beautiful sunsets - WOW- you can't believe it until you have been there. Lahaina was one of the most enjoyable places we have been, and we have cruised the Western Caribbean and Southern Caribbean. Lahaina has wonderful shops and great dining. We also visited other nearby shops and restaurants. The food was sooooo good, and when they say the fish is fresh, they mean caught that morning. We traveled all over the island, went on dinner and snorkel cruises, traveled upcountry, and took the famous Road to Hana. One of our highlights was going to the Old Lahaina Laua on the night of my wife's birthday. Since we had booked our condos 9 months in advance, I also decided to book the Laua in advance as I had heard it sells out months ahead. When we got to the Laua, the host asked me how long ago I had booked the reservations because we were in the best seats in the place! We definitely plan to go back to Maui - soon.

Our second week was on Oahu at Waikiki Beach. The Imperial was located a block from the beach. I think it was about 100 steps after we stepped out of the condo. At first I did not think I was going to really enjoy Honolulu/Waikiki having come from the more quaint, subdued island of Maui. Boy was I wrong. Even though it is packed with condos, it is also packed with great shops and restaurants. We were able to walk around Waikiki at any hour and find what ever we wanted. The food was as good as Maui and a little cheaper. Our condo was a one-bedroom two-bath unit that had a full size stove and a small refrigerator. We did not prepare any meals except for snacks and drinks. The unit was air-conditioned and the bedroom had its own controls. The unit was much smaller than the one at Kahana Villa. Like the one in Kahana there was very little storage space for clothes, but living out of the suitcase was not a problem. The other couple slept on the pull out couch, which they said was not very comfortable. But hey, they had the master bedroom the week before!! It had a coffee maker, but unlike the condo on Maui, we had to buy our own coffee, sugar and cream. Not a problem as there was a store in the lobby of the condo. The unit did not have a washer and dryer, but there were coin operated machines in the building. The other condo unit rented by my wife's sister was a one-bedroom one-bath unit. It was conveniently located next door. We visited the pool area, but did not swim there, as we were busy exploring the city and spending time on the famous Waikiki Beach.

We rented two vans on Maui, but only one on Oahu as most of the things we did were within walking distance to the condo. We went to the Polynesian Cultural Center, Pearl Harbor, downtown Honolulu, and visited several beaches on the east and north coast. My wife and I (we are in our 50's) and her sisters and their husbands loved Waikiki Beach. It has a sand bar that allows you to walk out a long way. The farther out you get, the bigger the waves are. We are not talking giant surfing waves!! We had a blast trying to body surf the waves and got knocked over by many of them. Like the beaches on Maui, Wikiki is romantic at night. Took many pictures. Honolulu/Waikiki is different that Maui, but it was such a wonderful place that we want to go back.

Thank you for your help in planning our trip to Maui. We had a wonderful time. Our stay at the Papakea was great. It was very clean and nice. I enjoyed having a kitchen and a washer and dryer for the eight days we were there.

Even though it was spring break and the place was full we never felt crowded at the condo. There was always a lounge chair at the beach or at the pool just waiting for us. Sometimes we even had the pool all to ourselves.

The activities agent was there in the lobby to help us with our plans and he made suggestions that were great. We planned our whole week with him and enjoyed it all. We felt we got the best without having to shop from place to place.

Not having been to Maui before we were happily surprised at our great accommodations. We think it would be fun to go back again.

My husband and I returned from our trip to Hawaii last week and wanted to thank you for helping us book out hotel accommodations in Maui. My husband and I booked two suites at the Embassy Suites in the Kaanapali area of Maui. The resort was absolutely gorgeous and the staff at the resort treated us very well. We were treated as "owners" and received discounts in the restaurants and shops and also enjoyed a complimentary "Happy Hour" each evening. We had a beautiful suite with a huge balcony overlooking the ocean and the mountains. This was our 4th trip to Hawaiian Islands and can honestly say this was the best hotel/resort we've ever stayed.

Dear Jimmy Carlson,

I can't begin to tell you what an adventure our trip to Mexico was. You were so much help. We were so glad we could call you if we had questions or needed help. I am so glad we paid for 1 extra day - if we hadn't we would have missed out. Because the airline made us miss 1 whole day sitting in the airport because the deicer didn't work on one engine.

The Avalon Resort people met us after we landed in Cancun, took us in air condition comfort to the dock. We were treated so good at the hotel. The food was fabulous. I can't wait to get our pictures back. I hope the security screener didn't hurt the film.

Because you picked me to call last July, Larry and I have a vacation we will never forget. We visited Cancun just 1 day and we agree, the Island of Isla Mujeres was much more to our liking. "Paradise" is a very appropriate word for Isla Mujeres. Cancun was more like Chicago or New York, with all the traffic and people and noise. The island was quite and comfortable and relaxed.

We had 5 days with no news, no weather reports, no telephone, no stress, just 5 days to enjoy each others company. Thank you for calling me last July to offer this to me. We're a few days back from a wonderful week in Las Vegas. The Polo Towers is a 5 star resort with everything that anyone could want. Unfortunately 2 days into our trip I managed to break my foot, but the staff couldn't have been any nicer. They got me a wheel chair, gave me use of the Polo Limo, so we could still enjoy the shows and dinners we already had lined up at the different hotels. I almost forgot to mention that as you predicted , Rick, we were upgraded on arrival to a 2 bedroom, strip front. Even with a broken foot, it was 8 days to remember. Thanks again.

We arrived to sunny and hot weather! It was wonderful! In the 70-80's both weeks we were there! Unfortunately our children were sick before we left and only got worse while we were there. :( However, since we were staying at Orange Lake Resort they informed us of the nearest hospital and we were able to spend a lovely afternoon (ha ha!) at the ER. The hospital staff was great and the place was just beautiful. They gave us good medicine and off we went. The twins were more like themselves within a day so the last week of our trip (while we were at Orange Lake) was great!

They have added another whole "village" and by 2005, they will have another village that will have it's own waterpark! Very exciting! This is a great family resort. Lots of golfing - they even have a par 3 course for wannabes - and plenty of pools to delight anyone. Although we didn't spend much time poolside since it's hard to get a couple of 3 year olds to understand why they can't go in the water....you can't swim at all, you've been sick, there is a breeze, etc., we did enjoy our villa and found ourselves relaxing in it much more than we normally would have. We came home surprisingly rested from this trip.

We did frequent all of the Disney parks and Downtown Disney (I am a Mickey Mouse addict) and they are always top notch. We did wind up with some tickets to Universal Studios and wished we had gone to SeaWorld instead. That's okay since we saved a day of our Disney hopper passes so we will go back. Maybe you can help us out again?! :)

Thanks for helping us with the arrangements. We do have one week left - I think it expires in May. I doubt we'll be using it but I am wondering if I will be able to contact you for other arrangements for any more vacations we plan to take in the coming years. Please let me know. I love dealing with you.

Elissa, I am so sorry I took a few weeks to thank you and Travel To Go. I had a wonderful vacation in Sedona, AZ. My family and I enjoyed the views, the shops , even the drive was fantastic.
