Q:    HOW DO I USE MY MEMBERSHIP PRIVILEDGES?

A:    A simple phone call to Travel To Go is all it takes to begin taking advantage of all your membership benefits.  Or you may visit our web site at www.traveltogo.com and send us an e-mail with your questions, or requests.

 

Q:    WHEN DOES MY MEMBERSHP START?

A:    Your membership begins once your application has been received and payment has been processed by Travel To Go.

 

Q:    HOW DO I FIND OUT WHAT RESORTS ARE PARTICIPATING IN THE TRAVEL TO GO GOLD GLOBE TRAVELER PROGRAM?

A:    Contact the Travel To Go vacation condominium department toll-free and any of the friendly vacation coordinators will be happy to provide to you information on locations, resorts, amenities, and availability for your membership.  Or visit us on-line at www.traveltogo.com and go to our destinations page.  

 

Q:    WILL I ALWAYS BE ABLE TO GET ACCOMMODATIONS AT THE DESTINATION OF MY CHOICE?

A:    100% of Gold Globe members requesting a vacation resort condominium will receive an offering to their submitted request; over 70% of Gold Globe members are confirmed into their 1st preferred vacation destination.  Please remember that all requests are confirmed on a space availability basis, so flexibility is important.  Our vacation coordinators are the best in the industry, and will work hard to provide you with a very memorable vacation.

 

Q:    WHO IS INCLUDED IN MY MEMBERHIP?

A:    You, your spouse, and your minor children who live at home with you.  You and your spouse may request vacation resort condominiums, however children listed in your membership must be in your company during any vacation.

 

Q:    MAY I BRING A GUEST ALONG ON MY VACATION?

A:    You may invite guests to travel with you as long as you adhere to the terms & conditions of the vacation certificate and the host resort, and the number of people in your party does not exceed the maximum occupancy for the confirmed vacation condominium.

 

Q:    CAN I GIVE MY VACATION CONDOMINIUM CERTIFICATES AS A GIFT?

A:    You may offer to family or friends your vacation condominium certificates, or donate to your favorite charity. We do not charge a guest name fee provided you give us the guest name prior to a confirmed match. A $75 guest name fee will be do if you change the name after a reservation is confirmed. However, the terms & conditions of the certificate must be honored at all times.

 

Q:    CAN I SELL OR TRANSFER MY MEMBERSHIP?

A:    Your Gold Globe Traveler membership may be transferred to a family member, friend, etc.; or the principal names may be changed due to marriage, divorce, or other family circumstances that may arise by sending a letter indicating the new members information as long as annual dues are current.

 

Q:    HOW OFTEN MAY I USE MY TRAVEL TO GO GOLD GLOBE TRAVELER BENEFITS?

A:    You may use 1, 2 or 3 resort weeks depending on your program type, or even unlimited Hot Weeks as long as your annual dues are current and terms & conditions of the certificate are followed. 

 

Q:    WILL I HAVE ACCESS TO NEW LOCATIONS & BENEFITS IF THEY ARE ADDED AFTER I PURCHASE MY MEMBERSHIP?

A:    Absolutely!  As a Gold Globe Traveler, you will be immediately notified of new benefits to the vacation program, and be granted immediate access.

 

Q:    WILL MY TRAVEL BENEFITS EVER CHANGE?

A:    As third party suppliers fulfill some of your travel benefits, Travel To Go will in the best interest of the membership may change suppliers from time to time.  In addition, Travel To Go will always search for the most rewarding travel services to be included in the list of benefits.

 

Q:    WHAT POLICIES APPLY TO CANCELLATION OF TRAVEL PLANS ALREADY BOOKED?

A:    Travel To Go policy for cancellations or changes are subject to the rules and regulations of the respective benefit supplier.  Some fares or fees are non-refundable; therefore Travel To Go recommends the purchase of travel insurance.

 

Q:    WHAT ARE THE OFFICE HOURS FOR TRAVEL TO GO?

A:    Our office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time, Monday through Friday.  Travel To Go observes major holidays, and the office will be closed.  (In an emergency, members can reach Travel To Go 24 hours over the weekend and during Holidays at the “After Hours” number.) 

 

Q:    WHEN DO I PAY MY ANNUAL DUES TO TRAVEL TO GO?

A:    You will be sent a renewal notice each year prior to the anniversary month when your membership began.  For example, if your anniversary month were June, you would receive a renewal notice around May 1, due on or by June 1.

 

Q:    CAN MY ANNUAL DUES BE INCREASED?

A:    Dues are set at the level necessary to provide you quality service and support.  There is a possibility that dues may be increased in the future.  Such an increase would be limited to covering any increased costs of providing service to Travel To Go members.
